Applications are now open for CEIDizler Grant Program to develop capacity, cooperation, advocacy, tools,
and mechanisms for the Indicator-Based Monitoring of Gender Equality in the
local area within the scope of the CEIDIzler Project.
The overall objective of gender equality in Turkey and
participatory democracy a more effective way to achieve strengthening
non-governmental organizations working in the field of rights-based gender
equality.
Priority Areas
- Developing inter-institutional
cooperation in Gender Equality monitoring studies;
- Establishing indicator-based
monitoring mechanisms to monitor Gender Equality;
- Increasing monitoring and
advocacy skills to achieve Gender Equality;
- Developing tools that will
promote Gender Equality
Funding Information
- The total amount allocated for
this Grant Scheme is 400,000 Euros. This will be given under the
call for proposals the grant will cover 100% of the eligible
costs. Grant applications are based on the following lower and upper
limits:
- Lower Limit: 10,000 euros
- Upper Limit: 40.000 euros
What are eligible
Projects?
The projects listed below are for illustrative
purposes only and applications are not limited to such projects:
- Advocacy activities to ensure
capacity and sustainability of Gender Equality Monitoring at the local
level;
- Developing monitoring capacity
and tools to increase local cooperation and information sharing
- Developing sustainable and
functional indicator-based monitoring mechanisms and tools to encourage
increased cooperation and dialogue between target institutions and
organizations;
- Better and more effective
advocacy and development of interagency cooperation and data sharing
mechanisms in the field of Gender Equality;
- Developing research and data
management skills of target institutions and organizations (knowledge
about data collection, storage, analysis and dissemination
tools); informing all relevant stakeholders about the effects and
results of their work for more effective advocacy;
- Developing tools to measure and
improve the perception and impact of the target institutions and
organizations on Gender Equality within the society;
- Increasing the Gender Equality
Monitoring capacities of target institutions and organizations;
- Conducting monitoring studies
in different thematic areas with the cooperation of target institutions
and organizations.
Who can apply?
While the Applicants may be non-profit NGOs, Associations
and Foundations, Local Equality Monitoring Platforms, Bar Associations,
Professional Organizations, Unions, Universities or Research Institutions,
Unions, Unions, Cooperatives and Federations can also take part in the project
as Co-Applicants. Municipalities can take part in projects as associates.
In order to apply for a grant, the applicant must meet the
following conditions:
- to be established in Turkey and
operates,
- To have a legal personality,
- Not for profit,
- Being established in one of the
target provinces of the CEIDizler Project (Ankara, Adana, Eskisehir,
Gaziantep, Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin, Samsun, Trabzon)
- Being a Non-Governmental
Organization.
- It is possible for institutions
that meet the following criteria to be co-applicants of more than one
project.
- to be established in Turkey
and operates,
- To have a legal personality,
- Not for profit,
- Being a non-governmental
organization, association or foundation
- To be a local equality
monitoring platform, professional organization, federation or
confederation,
- To be a non-profit
association, a cooperative,
- Being a bar association,
professional organization or union.
- Multi-partner submissions are
strongly recommended.
