Applicants are invited to submit proposals for
2021 Fund for Local
Cooperation (FLC) of the Mission of
Finland which is an instrument of Finnish development cooperation. They are
channeled through Tunisian civil society organizations to complement the bilateral
cooperation of Finland, towards poverty reduction, creating jobs and
participation of the civil society in the development process.
The priorities and objectives of the Embassy’s FLC Program for the
years 2021-2022 are as follows:
- The role of FLC projects in
Tunisia in 2021 is to improve the capacity of local civil society actors
to implement target-oriented projects, which provide opportunities to
productive employment, decent work, entrepreneurship and livelihoods for
people in vulnerable situations. Additionally, the FLC projects of 2021
focus specifically on women and digitalization. All projects should be
human rights based and contribute to gender equality.
Themes
The 2021 Call for Project Proposals is looking
for projects to contribute to promoting the following themes:
- Entrepreneurship and employment
opportunities for women
- Digital entrepreneurship
- Improving digital skills of
women and girls, including prevention of online violence and harassment
Funding Information
The ideal size of a financed project would fit
on a scale of 30 000-50 000 euros.
Criteria
Aapplicants will send a maximum two-page (2)
project idea. The free-standing proposal should include the following
information:
- Short presentation of the
project (project plan) including background information and duration of
the project
- Arguments of the project
related to the priority areas
- Planned beneficiaries (if
possible, gender-disaggregated)
- Planned outcomes with an idea
of change.
- An indicative budget
- Description of the project
management and monitoring and reporting.
- Name, official registration
number of your association and contact details and a signature of the
authorized representative of the organization.
