The Motorola Solutions Foundation is the charitable and philanthropic arm of
Motorola Solutions, originally founded in 1953. With employees located around
the globe, Motorola Solutions seeks to benefit the communities where it
operates. The company achieves this by making strategic grants, forging strong
community partnerships and fostering innovation.
Awarding over $9 million in grants in 2018,
which supported more than 2 million students and first responders affiliated
with about 250 organizations in 33 countries, our funding and involvement goes
beyond helping those in law enforcement. The foundation also supports
organizations that represent veterans, professional and volunteer fire service
personnel, EMS professionals and disaster response professionals. In
particular, the foundation focuses on:

Education – Supporting programs that advance
science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, preparing our next
generation of innovators

Public safety – Making our
communities safer by using our leadership in public safety innovation to
provide resources to first responders and the communities they serve

Disaster relief – Partnering with
humanitarian organizations to provide relief to disaster victims and providing
vital support to emergency workers who are at the front lines of disaster
relief

Employee giving – Providing our
employees with matching programs in the United States and globally
Grants
The Motorola Solutions Foundation is now
accepting 2020 inquiry requests. The deadline to submit the 2020 inquiry form
is end of day February 3, 2020. All 2020 applicant organizations will be
notified in late-March if they have been selected to submit a formal
application. Grant award decisions will be announced by August 2020.
Motorola
Solutions Foundation will host four optional informational sessions. The sessions
will provide an overview of the grant program, explain 2020 priorities and
answer any general questions you may have. Each call will highlight the same
