Activities that focus on security, safety and
emergency, Projects / activities that support creating safe spaces and support
groups online and offline, Projects / activities that build communities and
campaigning.
Eligibility Criteria
- Budget must adhere to grant
guidelines (10,000 USD)
- Proposed project must be
relevant to the theme of the call (Activities that focus on security,
safety and emergency, Projects/ activities that support creating safe
spaces and support groups online and offline, Projects/ activities that
build communities and campaigning.)
- Project must be implemented in
relevant geographical area (Egypt)
- Project timeline must adhere to
grant guidelines (12 months)
- Applicant must not be an AFE
staff member or relative
- Applicant must not have
received two consecutive competitive grants from AFE
- Applicant must not have an
ongoing grant with AFE
- Cost estimation in budget
breakdown must be realistic
- Indirect costs must not exceed
20% of total grant budget (2,000 USD)
- Budget items must be clear with
notes explaining unclear items where necessary
- Budget must be prepared in USD
- Shortlisted applicants must
further engage in the participatory selection procedures.
