The Digicel Foundation has launched the 4th edition of its Konbit Pou Chanjman campaign.
This initiative aims to reward 15 local organizations with 1,000,000 gourdes each for the implementation of a community project in one of the 10 departments of the country.
Areas
Organizations wishing to carry out a project are invited to apply for a grant in the following areas:
- education
- culture
- inclusion
- access
- livelihoods and
- disaster prevention
Prize Information
- 15 organizations will each receive 1,000,000 gourdes to implement a project community. There will be at least one winner per department
- The winners will be announced in March 2021.
Eligibility Criteria
Any non-profit organization based and registered in Haiti including associations as well as educational and religious charitable institutions existing since three years or more can apply for Konbit Pou campaign grant.
- Organizations must submit the following documents to be eligible:
- Konbit Pou Chanjman Foundation grant application formDigicel
- Copies (up to date) of registration as a non-profit organization received from the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI), town hall and other government institutions (Ministry of Planning or Ministry of Social Affairs or the town hall).
- Organization financial statements and bank statements
- Two photos of the project
- One minute YouTube video on the work of the organization (optional)
Eligible Projects
The Digicel Foundation will take into account projects that fall into the following categories:
- An organization can apply for more than one (1) project.
- An organization can submit a maximum of two (2) projects of different categories.
